Our ethos

Ethicare stands for ethical dental care. In a time when cosmetic dentistry often overshadows basic health, we set out to do the opposite: conservative, good-quality treatment that protects your teeth first and improves how they look second.

That means telling you honestly what needs doing and what doesn't, giving you a written plan with every fee before anything starts, and taking the time to explain the options, including doing nothing for now.

Our approach

The practice is built on minimal intervention. We'd rather keep your natural teeth healthy than replace them, so prevention, regular examinations and hygiene care come first.

Digital X-rays use a fraction of the radiation of film and give us clear images for planning. Our iTero scanner replaces impressions with a quick digital scan, and an intraoral camera lets you see what we see, on screen, before we talk about treatment.

Specialist care under one roof

Dr Glafcos looks after general and cosmetic dentistry and plans and places every dental implant himself. Alongside him, Dr Priti Acharya is a specialist orthodontist and consultant at the Eastman Dental Hospital, and Dr Yvonne Szyszko is a specialist oral surgeon who handles difficult extractions, wisdom teeth, bone grafts and sinus lifts.

Dr Ahmed Ali carries out root canal treatment under a dental microscope, and our hygienist Sylwia looks after gum health. Whether you need a routine check-up, teeth straightening or oral surgery, you can be seen here rather than referred elsewhere.

Where we are

You'll find us at 250 Upper Richmond Road in Putney, near Putney station, with patients coming to us from across south-west London. We're open Open until 9pm Tuesdays · Saturdays 9am–2:30pm, with late appointments on Tuesday evenings and on Saturday mornings for people who can't get away in the week.

The practice is wheelchair accessible, and we take extra time for patients who need it.
