Dental assistant Sara Mohammadi looks back on her first two months at Putney dental practice Ethicare
I have been at Ethicare Dental for two months now and have to say that the time has flown by; maybe it’s because the patients and the rest of the team are so lovely here! It is always so good to meet new people and get to know them.
However, it was sad to learn that our head nurse, Bineeta, is leaving her job. Bineeta is getting married and we are so happy for her but hope she knows how much she will be missed.
We are in the process of looking for a new nurse to replace our lovely Bineeta; not an easy task.
On a more positive note – I have been given more challenging duties such as putting in place a Quality Assurance policy program for our digital X-rays; interesting work for me to do.
Another good thing is that I have been working more with Klaudia these days which is a great chance to increase my knowledge since she carries out all the Invisalign and Inman Aligner treatments at the practice. The treatment is very patient-focused and it is nice to see how pleased the patients are as their treatment progresses.
I am also looking forward to seeing my first dental implant case under the expert supervision of Dr Steve Bassi, a consultant who undertakes private work at Ethicare Dental one Saturday a month.
All this and we are organising our Christmas staff party too. We are planning to combine dinner with some fun entertainment. We are undecided so far whether to go for dancing, comedy or bowling.
