Your Patient Journey

Your patient journey is as important as the outcome of treatment for us. That’s why we give patients the opportunity to view images of their teeth, explaining where and why treatment is required, and show immediate digital x-ray results. We store all our notes electronically – so no excuse for missing patient information! We get to know our patients, and over the years many have become friends of the practice. We are a practice of substance and are here to look after your oral health care for a lifetime.

We provide a range of dental treatments and smile makeover services at Ethicare Dental. These include routine check-ups, hygienists appointments, and cosmetic dentistry as well as facial aesthetic anti-wrinkle treatments. We have the facility to easily arrange the provision of dental implants, orthodontics (teeth straightening), advanced endodontics (root canal treatment), periodontics (gum treatment), dental bridges and other specialist dental services on site.

We are able to provide Saturday and late evening appointments to suit you. We also have a special dental emergencies service available at Ethicare Dental if you need it.

Helping everyone access the dental care they need

Dr Glafcos Tombolis has years of experience working as a general dentist. He is a great communicator and will listen, understand and empathise with your dental concerns. There are many people who have had bad dental experiences as a child and have a fear of dentists as a result. We have treated many people over the years who are no longer fearful because they have simply had one good experience after the other at Ethicare Dental.

It is true to say however that there are some individuals who require more than simply an understanding approach. We have both nitrous oxide laughing gas and intravenous sedation available at the practice. We tend to reserve these for very nervous patients or for patients who are having surgical, long or difficult procedures.

Prospective patients are required to read and understand the intravenous sedation consent form or the nitrous oxide consent form prior to treatment. 

How can you help me overcome my fear?

We want to help everyone feel able and willing to visit the dentist, not least because if a dental issue is left it can cause pain and the need for more complex treatment further down the line.

Please talk to us about your worries and concerns, so we can understand and begin to help in the way best suited to you. We will discuss your treatment in as much or little detail as you prefer, and may even suggest you listen to music or watch your favourite TV show during treatment to help keep you relaxed. Our practice environment is designed to be welcoming and friendly, enabling even anxious patients to feel more at ease in our care.
