It has been 3 months since we opened. Things are going really well. The practice is growing and I think so far patients have been happy with the quality of service they have received. We have had our fair share of teething problems, primarily due to the wonderful world of computers, but these have been largely overcome. It is important to realise that Ethicare Dental is a work in progress, both regarding its physical appearance and the service we provide. With your support we will be able to expand and improve so we can better serve the local community and wider area.Since we have opened we have embarked on an extensive advertising campaign. This includes Busstop adverts, tube advertising, SW and rise magazines, yellow pages, Edge magazine. We have also been advertising via google and are on many of the local search engines. We had a piece written about us in the Wandsworth Borough News highlighting our green credentials and will be advertising with them in the near future. Our exterior and interior signage is now near completion but bits and pieces will be added throughout the year.
We had an opening party on the 5th of March. This was a great success and I was enjoyed by all. Operatic Entertainment was provided by my friend and colleague, Andrew Bain. His performance was captivating and was good enough even to hold my 3 young children’s attention for more than 5 minutes. Thanks to all friends, family and patients who attended, I hope you enjoyed the evening. A special thank you to Fleur (practice manager) and Bineeta (dental assistant) for all their hard work in making the evening run smoothly. I am pleased to announce that we raised more than £150 for Dentaid on that evening alone.
More recently we have taken on a prosthodontist – Steve Bassi, who will be providing specialist services, primarily in the placement of dental Implants. He will also be helping to clarify and finalise more complex treatment plans and will be carrying out surgical gum treatments. To start with he will be working once a month with a view to increasing his commitment as required. More details about Steve can be found in the about us section of this website.
We also have a specialist in Orthodontics who can take care of all your tooth straightening requirements. My wife and I are also trained in the Invisalign method of straightening teeth. As well as carrying out all the aspects of routine and cosmetic dentistry, including tooth whitening, I also carry out BOTOX anti wrinkle treatments .
