Dental Implants at Ethicare Dental

We have 2 specialists at the practice that place our dental implants. Yvonna Szysko is a specialist oral surgeon and she uses Astra implants and Dr Steve Bassi who places Xive implants is our visiting consultant from the Eastman hospital. Both these implant systems are tried and tested and have a wealth or positive research behind them.  Implants can be placed by anyone. You don’t have to be a specialist. All you have to do is get certified on a training course and you can place implants. However I believe in offering Ethicare patients the best. I want confident implant surgeons who’s skill is not just backed up by brovado but by training, a knowledge of the research and a deep understanding of their subject. Dr Bassi deals with all our complex implant restorative cases as well as other complex cases. He is qualified in 3 of the dental specialities as a Periodontist,endodontist and prosthodontist. As a general and cosmetic dentist who happens to own a dental practice I feel lucky to be able to utilise Dr Bassi’s specialist skills and knowledge here at Ethicare Dental.
