Glafcos Tombolis qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1998. After a year of vocational training, he began work as an Associate in London. For 4 years, Glafcos worked in a mixed NHS and private practice in central London, which then became purely private.

Glafcos is an experienced practitioner. Having worked 6 days a week for many years now, there are few circumstances within his chosen field of practice that he has not come across. Glafcos carries out all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.

He is committed to a program of continued professional development and attends many courses to keep up to date with modern techniques.

Glafcos chose the name ETHICARE DENTAL to perfectly construe the values with which he has practised dentistry since he qualified.

Yvonne Szyszko qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1996. After completing her vocational training in the London deanery, she worked for 3 years as a hospital senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery. During this time, she was awarded her MFDS and M.Surg. Dent postgraduate exams.

In 2001, Yvonne moved to Australia to take up the position of lecturer in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Sydney, working at Westmead and the United Dental Hospitals. This involved lecturing, clinical teaching and also head and neck anatomy demonstrating. She also worked in general practice for the Australian health care fund.

Having moved back to England, Yvonne is involved in lecturing and examining at the Royal College of Surgeons in England. She has completed many courses in life support and trauma, SAAD sedation, teaching, forensic dentistry and anthropology and in wrinkle reduction treatments.

Yvonne is a specialist in oral surgery and provides a wide range of oral surgery procedures, as well as anti-wrinkle treatments, with her extensive knowledge of facial anatomy. She also works in a hospital in the speciality of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Sylwia graduated in Dental Hygiene in 2009 at the School of Medical Education in Poznan, Poland. She registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Hygienist in 2011 and has been working in dental practices in the UK since then.

Being an experienced Public Health worker, she has brought a positive contribution to all health organisations she has been involved with in Poland and the UK. After graduating with Master’s degree in Public Health at Medical University in 1998, in Poland, she worked in Clinical Hospital of Medical University for several years, gaining the knowledge and experience necessary in better understanding all patients’ needs.

Sylwia is well organised and can effectively communicate with patients. She is a passionate advisor in the field of oral hygiene, giving useful and individually focused instructions on how to keep the oral cavity in perfect condition. Constantly upgrading her qualifications by participating in many training courses, she is strongly motivated in learning new treatment techniques.

She has a gentle and understanding approach to anxious and nervous patients.

Outside work, she is interested in mindfulness, personal development, psychology, being in nature, likes yoga and dance salsa.

Priti is a Consultant in Orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital, UCLH and an honorary lecturer at University College London. She treats patients with complex orthodontic needs requiring multi-specialist care and trains orthodontic specialists. She treats patients of all ages and uses a full complement of orthodontic appliances including Invisalign, fixed ceramic braces, lingual braces, removable and functional braces. She is a Gold II Invisalign provider.

Priti loves helping her patients achieve their perfect smile and is also interested in guiding a child’s dental development from a young age, to give them the optimal smile throughout their childhood and school years. Her particular specialty is in looking after patients with missing teeth (hypodontia), and autotransplantation for missing or traumatized teeth.

She obtained her Masters in Science degree in orthodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London in 2009 and qualified as an Orthodontic Specialist in 2010, when she was awarded the 3M Unitek Prize for the best overall orthodontic student graduating from the Eastman Dental Hospital in her year. She subsequently undertook a further two years training at the Eastman Dental Hospital, UCLH and Kingston Hospital, Surrey, and was awarded her Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2012. She is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and the European Society of Orthodontics.

In her earlier career, Priti qualified with BDS Honours in 2002, from Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ Dental Institute (King’s College London). While there, she was awarded several prizes and awards, including the distinguished Newland Pedley Medal for Restorative Dentistry and the Jelf Medal for the best all-rounder dental student graduating in 2002. She undertook a House Officer Post at Guy’s Hospital and West Kent Community Dental Service, gaining experience in all aspects of dentistry including the management of anxious children.

Outside dentistry, she loves travelling, trying to grow vegetables and diving. She is also passionate about animal welfare and recycling to minimise her environmental impact.
